Ping Network Monitoring Software

 Ping is basically a software tool which is available on most of the computer system. It sends IP test messages between hosts.
If you are on network then you can easily run these ping programs to check the connections between 2 computers. Not only this, one can also check computer performance. Another network monitoring software is Open Monitor. This software has got a functionality using which one can monitor multiple remote servers and depending upon their performance it notifies administrator whether program is working perfectly or not. It has got one server check option present at the bottom. This option is used to check whether services like HTTP, FTP, POP are running or not. It has got capability to add servers permanently to network monitoring tool. There are few things that user has to do for monitoring software like they have to enter server address i.e. IP Address and server name for identification. There is a list of services that are preselected and checked unless and until they are unchecked by the user. One can also enable or disable alarm in same interface. These features can be configure separately and can inform its user either by sending email, may be through screen message or by executing program or may be playing some music.
